Tinka has been coming to the studio to work with clay
since it opened in 2002. He is a talented sculptor and
enjoys creating unique one off life studies. He has
produced pieces in 3D but mainly works in relief using
the female form as his main inspiration. His latest
pieces have been a series of ‘sketches’ into soft clay,
and also drawings onto bisqued clay using underglaze
pencil.
Tinka’s pieces display a rare ability to work with the
limitations of the material alongside his own physical
limitations to produce beautiful, quietly considered,
exceptional sculptures that are a pure delight.
His love of clay is evident in all his work and he is a
well loved member of the studio team!
